GLASSBORO, NJ (WPVI) -- Protestors gathered on Wednesday to voice opposition to the creation of data centers being built in the Garden State.
The group stood outside the New Jersey Big Data Alliance Conference that was being held on the campus of Rowan University in Gloucester County.
The alliance backs the construction of data centers, including one proposed in Vineland.
Critics say the booming industry is unregulated and impacts both the environment and soaring energy costs.
