It's called Recipe Philly, and the menu was created by home chefs across Philadelphia.
The winning recipes were chosen as part of a food competition that's being filmed for a docuseries.
Action News got a sneak peek before it opens to the public.
American Idol's Josh Randall is the host of Recipe Philly, where local home cooks are vying for a spot on the menu at the restaurant that's about to open its doors at the corner of Broad and Arch streets.
"Everyone thinks they have a recipe that belongs out into the world," says Randall, "and this is the first opportunity that they can actually have that happen."
It all started with a casting call last fall where home cooks showed up with their recipes, and their stories.
"We had over 1,000 people show up at the Convention Center," says Edward Baumstein, the Creative Producer and Founder of Recipe Philly.
The competition is being filmed for an 8-episode show.
"What it's going to look like is a little Shark Tank, a little American Idol, a little food show," says Randall.
Among the judges is local influencer Josh Moore from Josh Eats Philly.
"This is for us, by us," says Moore. "This restaurant is for Philly, and it is by Philly. Everything on the menu. So as we're tasting things, I'm tasting different neighborhoods. I'm tasting different cultures and it's all happening right here in this restaurant."
Moore is joined by "Top Chef" alumni Jen Carroll and "Chopped" alumni Clara Park.
"We've been on the other side of the judges' table," says Park. "What I tell the contestants is that this is a safe space."
"We are very, very empathetic," adds Carroll. "There's been tears. There's been lots of tears. So much crying."
"We heard about relatives and nonnas and lost friends, and it was really strangely emotional," adds Park.
The judges are working with Executive Chef Andy Revella, of Rainforest Cafe and Benningan's fame, to choose the 31 best dishes for the menu.
They can't wait for you to taste Philly's winning recipes.
"There are three or four recipes that I would probably eat every day," says Revella. "Some people just blew me out of the water."
Recipe Philly is set to open its doors in the middle of August.
