NORRSITOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- An electrical fire forced two dozen people from their homes in Montgomery County Wednesday evening.
The Red Cross is assisting three of the displaced residents in a shelter overnight at Blockson Middle School.
The incident happened along the 900 block of West Airy Street in Norristown. A tree fell onto wires, sparking the fire and damaging two homes and knocking out power to the area.
The shelter is staying open until 8a.m. Thursday, then the Red Cross and Norristown officials will decide if the need remains.
