LAWNCREST (WPVI) -- Residents in Lawncrest paused Wednesday to honor local veterans.
The Lawncrest Community Association held a ceremony at the rec center.

Community members sang the national anthem while an American flag was raised.
Officials also laid a wreath at a special monument to remember those who served.
