EGG HARBOR CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- The Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City has filed for bankruptcy protection.
The winery was supposed to be sold at a sheriff's sale, but the bankruptcy filing stops that.
Company officials say the company has $8.5 million in debts.
They say the winery has been around a century and a half, they intend to stay in business, and will remain open as the business reorganizes its finances.
