GLEN MILLS, Pa. (WPVI) -- What used to be the historic Concordville Inn has officially been transformed into a new hospital serving neighbors in Delaware County.

Health officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville.

The two-story facility was built along Baltimore Pike, near Route 322 in Glen Mills.

The 50-bed, inpatient hospital is expected to begin welcoming patients early next month.

It will include services that help patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries and complex orthopedic conditions.
