Thousands of runners gathered in the city for the Philadelphia Distance Run.
It features a 5K and Half Marathon through some of the city's iconic streets.
Both races started along the Ben Franklin Parkway.
Weekend GMA anchor Janai Norman participated in the race.
Janai ran along with moms and participants from the "Students Run Philly Style", a program for the next generation of athletes.
The race caused several road closures on Sunday.
Kelly Drive, MLK Drive, the Ben Franklin Parkway and Falls Bridge are all impacted.
