At Rex 1516, you'll find Executive Chef Justin Swain whipping up "bar bites" like a Southern smoked pork sandwich or pimiento grilled cheese for their Wednesday Happy Hour. It runs from 5-7. The bar bites are just $5 each. And a weekly julep special is just $6.
They also have a burger deal that runs all night long.
Swain explains. "The burger is part of our city-wide deal. It's a burger, fries, a shot of Buffalo Trace, and a pint of Newbold for $15. And that's on Wednesdays as well."
Across the street at Jet Wine Bar, they're also running a happy hour deal. It starts after Center City Sips ends -- 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights.
Bar Manager Amanda Juner says, "The house wines are always $5. There's always a rotating cocktail. In the summer, we typically do a white sangria, which is offered all the time, but is $2 off during happy hour. It's a really good deal."
Snacks like bruschettas, deviled eggs and picholine olives are just $3.
