PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- SEPTA will celebrate the launch of its upcoming Route 45 service to the Navy Yard on Tuesday.
It will bring direct bus connections between Center City Philadelphia and one of the city's fastest-growing neighborhoods.
The celebration includes some special appearances and a ceremonial first bus arrival.
The service officially begins August 23 and will run seven days a week, marking the first direct bus service there in more than a decade.
