PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- SEPTA says it had productive talks with the Philadelphia city transport workers' union on Thursday.
The two sides are working to come to terms on a new contract after the previous deal expired nearly two weeks ago.
The union has voted to authorize a strike; however, there's no indication they will walk off the job at this point.
Talks are expected to resume on Monday.
Meanwhile, a separate union that represents workers on suburban routes will take up a strike authorization vote on Friday.
