NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Six juveniles were arrested Saturday evening after a large fight involving nearly 100 juveniles broke out in the parking lot of the Christiana Fashion Center, according to Delaware State Police.
Troopers were called to the shopping center around 6:30 p.m. on May 16 after multiple reports of juveniles fighting, police said. Officers from several agencies responded and tried to disperse the crowd, but some refused to leave, and additional fights erupted.
A 15yearold Wilmington boy was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and thirddegree trespassing. Police said he ran from troopers attempting to arrest him and was taken into custody after a Taser was used. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on an unsecured bond of $1,101.
Three other 15yearold boys from Wilmington, a 14yearold Wilmington boy, and a 13yearold boy from Elkton, Maryland, were each charged with disorderly conduct and thirddegree trespassing. They were released on criminal summonses, police said.
