Her brother, Victor Saracini, was a former Navy pilot who worked for United Airlines. He was the pilot-in-command of Flight 175, which was hijacked and deliberately crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
Saracini hailed from Atlantic City just like John O'Neill, a former FBI Agent who was head of security at the World Trade Center.
Both men perished on September 11th, 2001. And both are the namesake of the Saracini-O'Neill Atlantic City 9/11 Memorial.
The memorial hosts ceremonies on 9/11 each year, while also commemorating Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
