Sounding rockets launch from Virginia shows vapor tracers in New Jersey sky

Sounding rockets that NASA launched from Wallops Island, Virginia, led to an unusual sight in the sky.

The rockets released vapor tracers that formed milky, white clouds, allowing us to "see" the winds in space.

Viewers from Lumberton to Wildwood in New Jersey sent Action News pictures.

NASA says the vapor tracers released are not harmful and are the same used in common fireworks.
