This South Jersey fire station has a mailbox ready to receive letters for Santa

HAMMONTON, New Jersey (WPVI) -- During this holiday season, children and families can drop off their letters to Santa right at their local firehouse.

Hammonton Independent Volunteer Fire Company Number 2 will be accepting letters until December 15th.

All those who send a letter will receive a personalized response in the mail.

"We interact with individuals every day, whether it's on a fire, an alarm , a car accident. But it's always important for the community to see us outside of those roles, see how we are regular people. We are part of the community," said Lt. Joe Lizza.
