PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Best friends, Grammy Award winners and collaborators, Sting and Shaggy, are continuing their annual end-of-summer tradition here in Philadelphia.

Once again, the duo is hosting, curating and co-headlining the "One Fine Day" music festival at The Mann in Fairmount Park.

"You got the Sting fans and the Shaggy fans, and it's one fine day, man," Shaggy laughed. "I like that energy and I think Philly is a great place to blend it."

The artists have been friends for 20 years, and the crowd feels that.

"We are great friends, genuinely, and we want to enlarge that community, that sense of fun," Sting said. "I always have a good time with Shaggy. He brings the fun out in me."

The musicians admit that their collaboration seems unlikely.

"Sting always says that it doesn't make sense on paper," Shaggy said. "But then when you get into it, I always say he's the brother I never knew I needed."

They say this festival is a real fusion of fun, especially when they hop on each other's hits like The Police's "Roxanne" and Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me."

Once again, they're bringing a star studded lineup of musical guests to town like O.A.R.
