Julia MacDonald said her 2020 Honda Accord was stolen early Saturday morning from the area of 13th and Bigler streets.
MacDonald told Action News she was preparing to move to Florida and had packed much of her belongings inside the vehicle before it was taken.
Using the location-tracking feature on her AirPods, MacDonald said she was able to trace some of her possessions and found them discarded at a nearby street corner.
By the time she arrived, however, many of the items appeared to have been rummaged through.
"My whole world has been flipped upside down," MacDonald told Action News. "Now I'm carless and we're staying in an Airbnb. This has cost me thousands of dollars."
Police later recovered the stolen vehicle in North Philadelphia, but MacDonald said it is no longer drivable.
She is now hoping to recover several items that remain missing, including a jewelry box containing pieces that belonged to her late grandmother.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS.
