PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in North Philadelphia after a stray bullet hit a woman inside her home.
Police say the 25-year-old was in a second-floor apartment when a bullet came through the window and drywall, hitting her in the leg.
Investigators recovered 18 shell casings from two different calibers near 8th Street and Susquehanna Avenue near the house.
According to a witness, they saw a group of four to five teenagers firing their guns into the air.
Police say the home does not appear to have been targeted.
