CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A student earned a special ride to school on Thursday, after winning the Camden City School District's "Fired Up for Literacy" challenge.
Zinachi Ibeneche rode a fire truck to H.B. Wilson School in Camden, and was cheered on by students and staff.
She won the challenge after logging 1,146 minutes of reading in the month of February.
The annual reading initiative encourages students in 1st through 3rd grades to build strong independent habits in the classroom and at home.
