The shooting happened around 10 a.m. Monday inside a store on the 4900 block of North Broad Street.
Police say 32-year-old Shawn Caddell was shot during a robbery, but no further details about the circumstances have been released.
Medics rushed Caddell to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
