An SUV caught fire on the Walt Whitman Bridge Toll Plaza Sunday night, closing some of the westbound lanes for a time.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An SUV caught fire on the Walt Whitman Bridge Toll Plaza Sunday night, closing some of the westbound lanes for a time.

It happened in the westbound lanes, midspan, from New Jersey into Philadelphia, around 9:30 p.m.

Authorities were forced to close seven toll lanes.

They did not report any injuries and are still looking into what caused the fire.

The closed lanes have since been reopened.
