SUV crashes, nearly hits 12th Police District building in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An out-of-control car stopped just inches away from smashing into a police district building in Southwest Philadelphia.

You can see the SUV jumped the curb and ended up against a traffic light at the corner of 65th Street and Woodland Avenue, where the 12th District building is located.



Authorities say the driver also hit several other parked cars before coming to rest at the corner, just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

Only the driver was hurt.
