PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Thousands of runners went the distance for the annual Rocky Run in Philadelphia on Saturday.
Participants made their way to and from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, with the first wave stepping off at 7 a.m.
The event featured 5K and 10-mile races, while the Italian Stallion Half Marathon combined the two for a 13.1-mile trek.
Several street closures were in place along Ben Franklin Parkway, Spring Garden Street, and MLK Drive. Most streets reopened by noon, with Eakins Oval fully open by 2 p.m.
