Tinder date turns into nightmare in New York

SOUTH NYACK, N.Y. (WPVI) -- Instead of stealing a kiss, a woman's Tinder date is accused of trying to steal her jewelry, cash and electronics.

Police in Nyack, New York say the couple was enjoying a lovely date.

They went out for dinner then back to the woman's house where they sat on the porch and hung out.

The 26-year-old man asked to use the restroom.

Police say while he was inside, he started grabbing anything he could.

A neighbor spotted him through the window and called the cops.

Police say the man who still lives with his parents has a previous arrest record.



That woman probably wishes she had swiped left.
