Toddler struck by hit-and-run driver in SW Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 2-year-old was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday near 65th Street and Guyer Avenue.

Responding medics rushed the child to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition.

A description of the striking vehicle has not been released at this time.
