True Light Fellowship Church held a free festival today to bring resources right to where it's needed.
"This community event is to provide that glimmer of hope that things will get better. There is joy coming in the morning and that's what we believe," said Sherri Johnson Roye, Public Relations Ministry Director.
Companies seeking future employees headlined the event with a job fair.
"We have over 25 employers coming...to let people know jobs are available...I'm all about branching out and trying to build bridges, and this is what this event particularly is about, and showing the love of Christ through it all," said Roye.
