Urban Outfitters to build new facility in Bucks County, expand operations in South Philadlephia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Governor Josh Shapiro announced on Monday that Urban Outfitters is expanding in Pennsylvania, adding about 1,000 jobs in the process.

Shapiro touted the move at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia.

He said the Philadelphia-based retailer will be investing $150 million to build a new facility in Falls Township, Bucks County, creating 600 jobs.

Urban Outfitters will also be expanding operations at the Navy Yard, adding 450 jobs there.
