CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Friday November 11th is Veterans day and Wednesday, Rutgers University in Camden honored the men and women who have served our country.
The school held a luncheon to pay tribute to students, alumni, faculty, and staff who have served in the military.

Rutgers was the first school in New Jersey to be named a "purple heart university" because of its support of students who are also veterans.
