GALT, Calif. (WPVI) -- A sharp-eyed worker in Galt, Calif., plucked a tiny kitten from a trash-filled conveyor belt Wednesday, just moments before she would've ended up in the compactor.
The kitten, who seems no worse for the wear, was hidden under piles of recycling.

Even more impressive, she may have survived the trip to the recycling center inside a trash truck.
At the end of the ordeal, the plant's supervisor decided to take her home for good.
