Hero cat claws his escape through snow drift

After being snowed in by a storm, homeowners were shocked to find their front door blocked by a four-foot snow drift. With no escape possible, one brave cat named Rutiger excitedly took to tearing through it:

"Let me at 'em! Let me at 'em!" the cat might have thought when cutting through the wall of snow like a spoon through mashed potatoes. However, the ever-helpful cat overestimated himself when he tried to preemptively jump over the drift to freedom, yet the mound proved too tall. Eventually, with enough peristence, Rudiger was able to claw a freedom hole where the front door once was.
