CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Mayor Michael Nutter marked the 150th anniversary of the abolition of slavery Sunday by reading the 13th Amendment at the National Constitution Center.

A rare copy of the 13th amendment, signed by Abraham Lincoln, is on display at the center.
There were also a screening of "The Abolitionists" and a discussion on the event that changed history.
