The Wilmington Flower Market opened on Thursday.
The three-day festival is held every year at Rockford Park.
It marks the arrival of Spring and has been held over Mother's Day weekend since 1921.
Along with the massive plant sale, the festival will offer live music, carnival rides, a beer garden and retail vendors.
Proceeds go to non-profits dedicated to improving the lives of children across the First State.
