WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A Delaware woman is facing felony assault charges after state police say she used pepper spray during a shoplifting incident.

It happened Sunday at the Dollar Tree on Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington.

Janaia Wright allegedly tried to walk out of the store without paying for items she hid under her children in their stroller.

Wright ran out when confronted by workers, but went back inside after realizing she dropped her cell phone during the incident.

That's when investigators say she sprayed two employees.

Neither was seriously hurt.

Wright was arrested outside of the store.
