The shooting was reported around 2 p.m. Wednesday on the unit block of Bromley Court.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, 33-year-old Domincio Fuhrtz was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a parked vehicle.
Fuhrtz was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.
Investigators said Amelia G. Wilmore-Nozil, 38, of Glassboro, was involved in a struggle over a firearm when it discharged, striking Fuhrtz.
Authorities said Wilmore-Nozil owned the weapon.
She has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
