Woman cut with machete during argument over parking spot in Philadelphia's Fairhill section: Police

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was slashed Wednesday after an argument over a parking spot, according to Philadelphia police.

It happened just after 1 p.m. in the 2800 block of North Hancock Street in the city's Fairhill section.

Police say the 23-year-old victim got into a verbal dispute with another woman when the suspect allegedly pulled out a machete.

The victim was cut on her left hip, according to police.

Police say the suspect then took off northbound on Hancock Street in a Blue Nissan Sentra.



The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.
