PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman is hospitalized after being shot early Sunday morning in West Philadelphia.
The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. along the 100 block of North 58th Street.
Police say officers responding to the scene found a 23-year-old woman inside a second floor apartment suffering from a gunshot wound to her left thigh.
She was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
Authorities say they are searching for a woman who was last seen on Race Street traveling on foot.
