Woman shot twice in Chester amid brazen daytime shootout, source says

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 67-year-old woman is recovering after she was shot twice while visiting a home in Chester, Delaware County.

The gunfire erupted just after 3:30 p.m. Monday along the 100 block of West 22nd Street.

A source told Action News that two cars with people hanging out the sunroofs were firing at each other in broad daylight.

Police say the woman was shot in the hand and the leg.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment. She is expected to survive.



So far, no arrests have been made.
