Worker impaled by blow torch in accident at Camden EMR plant in July

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- New information has been released about a worker who was injured on the job at the EMR scrap metal recycling plant in Camden, New Jersey.

Action News has learned that a contractor's arm and torso were impaled by a piece of blow torch while working to disassemble an old crane on July 18.

Two other workers suffered burns.

In June, the same facility was ordered to suspend operations following several fires.

It was later allowed to reopen.
