SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters were called to the refinery complex in South Philadelphia after a heater malfunctioned, exploded and caught fire.

It happened around 11 p.m. Saturday in a small building on the 3100 block of West Passyunk Avenue next to a 120-foot smokestack.

The flames were quickly doused, and fuel was drained from the heater to prevent further problems.

No one was injured.
