Aldo Vazquez, who lives near South Morris Avenue, says he felt the floor shake.

"I heard a loud bang. My car started beeping afterwards, and looked out the window and there was a tree on top of my car," recalled Vazquez.
Ariel Franco's SUV also suffered similar damage.
"It sounded like a monster. It was crazy," said Franco.
A tree also came down in the backyard of Caleb Sedelmeyer's home. It destroyed his fence and part of his neighbor's shed.
"The windows flexed in the house. I walked out to the back room and looked at the tree and it was whipping," Sedelmeyer said. "I looked over this way. I was like, 'Is there a tornado in the sky or something?' Heard a thud. Looked over. The tree was down."
Neighbors say the storm was quick.
"As soon as I came out, the sky was clear. I don't know how that happened," said Vazquez.
After what happened this night, Sedelmeyer has some advice if you have tall trees near your home.
"If you are thinking that it might fall, just give it a second thought. It could be really expensive...but it could've been so much worse," said Sedelmeyer.
