Police say the incident began at approximately 12:30 a.m. in an unidentified part of the city.
The first victim, an 18-year-old male, was shot once in the neck. Another victim, a 21-year-old male, was shot four times in the arms.
Both victims were transported to St. Cristopher's Hospital by private vehicle, officials say.
The 18-year-old died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Officers say the second victim was listed in critical condition and transported to Temple University Hospital.
No arrests have been made, and police are still unsure where the double shooting took place.
