KAZAKHSTAN - After spending nine and a half months in space, American astronaut Peggy Whitson is on her way home.

Whitson is returning with her name in the record books.

Whitson has spent 665 days in space over the course of three separate missions.

She will have spent more time in space than any other American.

Whitson is scheduled to return to Earth Saturday night in Kazakhstan.
