According to a spokesperson from SEPTA, two workers were struck by a vehicle south of the County Line Station. The vehicle involved was being used for rail tie removal work on the line.
One employee who was struck was immediately taken to Lankenau Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
He is 54 years old and has been with the authority for 23 years, according to SEPTA.
The second employee was trapped under the vehicle for roughly an hour, SEPTA officials say. Once emergency and SEPTA personnel freed the man, he was stabilized at the scene and rushed to Lankenau.
Officials say he is 60 years old and a 30-year veteran at SEPTA.

While his injuries are not considered life-threatening, he did sustain serious injuries that require further medical treatment.
Officials have not released the identities of the victims but say an investigation is currently underway.
In a statement, SEPTA officials wrote, "The Safety of SEPTA employees and customers is our top priority. A full investigation into this incident by the SEPTA System Safety Division is underway."
Crews from the Radnor Fire Company along with other emergency teams also responded and aided in this incident.
This all comes after SEPTA employees completed mandatory reinforcement training last month.
