The incident took place near Dekalb and Brown streets around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
Officers arrived at the scene to find the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There is no word on any suspects or a motive. There were also no weapons recovered at the scene.
