The shooting happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday at S. Independence Mall East and Chestnut Street.

According to investigators, that road rage incident involved a group of people on motorbikes and the 36-year-old male driver of a 2016 Cadillac.
The driver of the Cadillac opened fire, killing 29-year-old Angel Luis Rios Jr., then drove himself to Pennsylvania Hospital after a 24-year-old biker fired back, hitting him in the arm.
Rios' motorbike could be seen on the ground at the site of the shooting. The Cadillac was riddled with bullet holes.
"What clearly started as a dispute turned into shots fired, turned into a lot of shots fired," said Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
At this point, no charges have been filed against any party. Krasner wouldn't say if either shooter was licensed to carry, but said this:

"An awful lot of people were traveling in cars or motorcycles with guns, an awful lot of people had no trouble at all getting permits to carry," he said. "And that's a problem."
The intersection is still a welcome spot for tourists, even after such a violent incident.
"This is a special place in the city and you hate to see any of that activity going on anywhere but especially here," said Marvin Walters of Lansdowne.
No charges have been filed so far, but police say the investigation is ongoing.
