Man shot and killed in Hunting Park identified

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have identified a man shot and killed Friday in Hunting Park.

It happened at 4:11 p.m. Friday on the 600 block of Rising Sun Avenue.

When officers arrived at the scene, residents told them two shooting victims had been taken by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital.

Police say 29-year-old Luis Alicea of the 4000 of J Street had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at 4:27 p.m.

A 24-year-old man was shot once in the left shoulder.

He was listed in stable condition.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shootings and who was responsible.
