Bodycam footage shows police chief rescuing baby at traffic light

SPLENDORA, Texas (WPVI) -- A police chief in Texas is being hailed a hero after rescuing a baby who wasn't breathing while at a traffic light.

KTRK-TV reports, Splendora ISD's Rex Evans was on routine patrol going from one campus to another Friday, when someone pulled up at the traffic light saying, "My baby is not breathing."

Bodycam footage shows the officer resuscitating the baby on the roadway.
