The fatal shooting occurred around 11:17 p.m. Tuesday on the 2400 block of West Sergeant Street.
Officers found the victim on the second floor of a home.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's identity has not been released.
No arrests have been made.
