Children discover man's body under Upper Darby bridge

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Delaware County officials are investigating the discovery of a body under an Upper Darby bridge.

Police were called to the Marshall Road Bridge, which connects Upper Darby and West Philadelphia, around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Police say children playing in the area found the body along the banks of Cobbs Creek, which is underneath the bridge.

The body appears to be that of a man, but no word yet on the cause of death.
