Construction on a controversial new middle school in Montgomery County is back on after the Upper Perkiomen School Board reversed a decision to stop the project.

The project was originally approved by the prior school board of directors, but the current school board stopped the project earlier this month over concerns of the tax payer cost.
But Tuesday that same board voted 5 to 4 to reverse that decision.
So far nearly $8 million has been spent on the project.
