Ford Explorers recalled due to suspension issues

We have a consumer alert to pass along Wednesday afternoon.

Ford is recalling more than a million Explorers.

The company says the SUVs that are model years 2011 through 2017 have suspension issues.

Drivers have reported a broken link causing steering problems.

Dealers will replace the parts for free, costing Ford an estimated $180 million.
